Send in the children, whose open laughter Stemming from their innocence and youth Has not yet been jaded by their contact With the world, but is still bright and clear.
Yes, send in the clowns and the children -- The world has need to keep its faith with all that is most dear With the young and the wise -- for the clowns Have the wisdom to see beyond the folly of small men And the children still have the innocence to laugh And heal the broken world again.
